At Meaco we have been involved in air treatment since 1991 and it is something that we are passionate about. What we are looking to try and do is to educate people about the benefits of using a dehumidifier and making sure that customer always end up with the right dehumidifier for their personal needs.
This is why we write so many blog posts to try and cover all of the different options and to update things as the technology changes and products become more advanced.
For example it used to be the case that the rule of thumb was to use a compressor dehumidifier above 16°C and a desiccant dehumidifier below 16°C but now the 20L Low Energy and the 25L Low Energy break that rule as they are the first compressor dehumidifiers to offer really good extraction right down to 10°C.
