Quiet Mark helps you to ‘Find Your Quiet’

Quiet Mark Find Your Quiet campaign ITV1 promo

Quiet Mark is a global certification programme that assesses and certifies the quietest products and solutions to unwanted noise. And with the support of the UK Noise Abatement Society, they have just released their 2023 National Noise Report. It’s packed full of great insights and it’s spring-boarded the launch of their latest campaign: “Find Your Quiet”.

The report shares feedback from people across all regions and age groups about noise levels at home and at work, as well as what having a quiet recharge time means to them.

So, how important is quietness… really? The answer is, very important. In the survey, Quiet Mark found that 62% of Brits would like their home to be quieter.

Based on the survey results and the pursuit for quiet in the home, Quiet Mark has created this campaign to help the nation find what it’s looking for, naming it: “Find Your Quiet”.  The campaign, which launched on ITV this weekend, demonstrates exceptional ways of prioritising your quiet time everyday.

And here at Meaco, we make a marked effort to engineer quieter products and we are very proud that a host of our products have been accredited with the Quiet Mark Award.

The easily identifiable Quiet Mark can be found on many Meaco products. It also provides independent expert information about noise levels, so you can be confident that our products have low noise levels before you purchase. By joining the Quiet Mark movement, together, we further encourage manufacturing worldwide to prioritise responsible acoustic design to reduce noise pollution.

What could “Find Your Quiet” mean to you?

In the autumn and winter:

In the wetter months, you may use a dehumidifier to manage humidity levels inside. As objects like dehumidifiers can remain in use for much of the day and in central areas of the home, you definitely want to look for something that remains quiet while in operation.

Let’s take a look at our MeacoDry Arete® One 12L, one of the latest products to be awarded the Quiet Mark. Our best low noise dehumidifier solution yet, the Arete® One 12L is just 38dB. This whisper-quiet operation is equivalent to a whisper or faint library sounds. Very quiet indeed!

The Arete® range comes with a whole host of useful features. We’ve added a medical-grade HEPA filter for better air purification; the water tank has lips on both sides so it’s always easy to empty the tank; and it comes with a special adaptor in the lid so you can attach your garden hose to drain away the water. It also has several handy preset modes such as the Night Mode, for a quiet but efficient performance, and Laundry Mode, to help dry your clothes.

In the summer:

In the summer heat, you might find more peace in a good and quiet night’s sleep. Our Quiet Mark accredited MeacoFans will keep you cool, banishing those warm, uncomfortable nights.

Let’s take a look at our popular MeacoFan 1056P Pedestal Air Circulator. It’s Quiet Mark accreditation demonstrates the attention to noise levels and it’s no surprise the judges enjoyed the brushless motor, measuring just 20dB. The fan head quietly moves side to side, and up and down, bouncing the air off the walls and ceiling to create a quiet and pleasant breeze within the room. Perfect to use anywhere – keeping your bedroom cool in the summer, watching a movie, having guests for dinner, during meetings, on a date night – whatever you’re doing, you can do it comfortably without the noise of a fan getting in the way.

In fact, every element of our products has been carefully chosen and crafted by our team, consistently adopting Quiet Mark’s values into our designs. We believe this Quiet Mark accreditation recognises our hard work in creating quiet and peaceful products for the home and for the workplace. Together, we can help you “Find Your Quiet”.
