So it’s important to know how to clean it!
Luckily, we’ve made this nice and easy thanks to its thoughtful removable-blade design. Just follow the simple steps below.
What you’ll need:
- small screwdriver
- clean, dry cloth
- vacuum
Important: Before you start, always make sure your fan is unplugged from the mains.
Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Remove the Back Grille
To open your Meaco fan for cleaning, use your small screwdriver to remove the screw on the back grille.
Step 2: Remove the screw on the fan blade
Use your small screwdriver again to undo the screw at the base of the cylindrical fan blade.
Step 3: Take the fan blade out
Push the blade up and move the base of it towards you to pull it out.
Step 4: Clean the fan blade and back grille
Wipe the blade component clean with a dry cloth, and vacuum any visible dust inside and on the grille.
Step 5: Replace the components
Reverse the steps above to put everything back together. And then enjoy the refreshing, high-performance cooling for longer.
