Engineering excellence: The journey to Sefte®
When we set out to create a new fan, we didn’t just want “better.” We wanted smarter, quieter, and kinder to the planet. Three years, hundreds of tests, and more than a few late-night brainstorming sessions later, the Sefte® range was born.
We partnered with our long standing design partners, Rich, Matt, and Adam, whose design sensibilities helped shape everything from the elegant lines to the magnetic remote control. Each brought something unique: from airflow engineering expertise to ergonomics to sustainability know-how.

Why Sefte®? A name with meaning
We knew this new fan range needed a name that captured its essence – something that reflected its calm, refined performance. That’s when we discovered ‘Sefte’, an Old English word meaning quiet, gentle, and undisturbed. It was the perfect fit.
