The new Meaco 25L Low Energy Dehumidryer is our latest dehumidifier and the first dehumidifier to use a DC Motor which provides greater efficiency and lower running costs. We like to send our dehumidifiers out for independent reviews to challenge ourselves and to try and spread the word (good or bad) so that consumers don’t just have to take our word for it and can get independent third party opinions on Meaco and our dehumidifiers.
As a company we are trying to raise standards in the industry and to try and design and manufacture better quality dehumidifiers and leave it to others to push prices down by cutting corners on quality.
That philosophy is fine but will others ‘get it’?
We waited with baited breath for the review to be published and it arrived this morning and I am delighted to say that it was a 5 star review.
This is obviously very pleasing but I was especially pleased by the opening paragraph which read;
‘Over the past few months UK company Meaco have rolled out a number of refined, highly effective and economical dehumidifiers and made huge advancements in dehumidifier efficiency and running costs.’
This dehumidifier is not just about being a viable alternative to the tumble dryer it also has a special ‘Auto’ mode that varies its fan and compressor performance to try and maintain a comfortable relative humidity between 50 and 60%rh. The perfect setting for both home and museum use. In the review this is described as
‘This represents the pinnacle of truly smart technology in the home and has allowed Meaco to make the 25L a genuinely ‘hands-off’ dehumidifier.’
I genuinely feel that this is the best compressor dehumidifier that we have ever produced and that is saying something when you remember that we have a compressor dehumidifier at the top of the Which? Best Buy table for the past two years. The Meaco 20L Low Energy dehumidifier is a fantastic dehumidifier but this 25L will provide you with more water for less money and the LCD means that it has some cool features.
