That’s why we engineered this compact dehumidifier to offer high performance in a smaller, quieter, more discreet footprint. Its compact size means it fits easily into any room without taking up much space, while the flush-back design allows it to sit neatly against the wall.
Plus, it’s light enough to relocate as needed, simply pick up and go. Perfect for targeting problem areas or adjusting the dehumidifiers position as conditions change.
It is the perfect solution to manage humidity in spaces up to 25m², that’s about the size of a double bedroom. For example, the MeacoDry Arete® One 6L can be positioned between the desk and the bed at a student let or tucked beside the cabinet in the spare room.

Cleaner, Healthier Air
The Arete® One 6L comes equipped with a medical-grade H13 HEPA filter, capturing 99.75% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including mould spores, dust and allergens. This ensures that, unlike non-HEPA dehumidifiers that can recirculate spores, Arete® cleans the air as it dehumidifies.

Waking up to condensation on the windows when you roll out of bed? Need a compact dehumidifier to quietly manage humidity in a bedroom? Whether you’re working late, winding down or sleeping through the night, you can leave it running confidently while it continues to clean and dehumidify the air in the background. It’s so quiet, you can even dry your washing in your bedroom overnight whilst you sleep.
Selecting Night Mode will turn off all lights and sounds for undisturbed sleep and operates at a phenomenal whisper-quiet 32dB.
Shhh… that’s ideal for even the lightest of sleepers! No interruptions, just cleaner, drier air exactly when you need it most.
Smart Laundry Mode
Constant loads of washing and a damp smell hanging around the house? Multiple busy students and endless laundry in your student let? No problem. Conquer laundry with Smart Laundry Mode on the Arete® One 6L and make drying clothes indoors faster, easier and more efficient. It can dry a typical load in just 6 hours, making it ideal for flats, shared homes and spaces without outdoor drying options or tumble dryers.
This mode speeds up drying time while actively removing excess moisture from the air. It helps prevent damp build-up, protects walls and windows from condensation and keeps living spaces feeling fresh. No more draping laundry over radiators or waking up to a stuffy room, just quicker drying and better air quality, all at the touch of a button.
Smart Humidity Mode
Looking for the easiest and reliable way to manage humidity in your space? Simply choose your target humidity by pressing the Smart Humidity Mode and let Arete® take care of the rest.
Your dehumidifier will automatically manage humidity levels for maximum comfort and minimum energy use. Once the target humidity is reached, the unit switches off and checks the air every 30 minutes, restarting only when needed.
Meaco Control Logic keeps humidity steady while minimising power use and running costs. Every detail has been considered to make life easier, from compact styling to intuitive controls.
And design is not just about the modes, either. It’s a full suite of functionality:
- Ergonomic air intake means it can sit flush against a wall to save space.
- A sliding HEPA or charcoal filter can be replaced easily, creating a combined Dehumidifier and Air Purifier.
- The 1.8L water tank can be taken from the front and emptied from either side, or connected to a hose for continuous drainage.
- A hidden carry handle and castors (available separately) makes Arete® easy to move when required.
