We are very proud to support our customer service team member, Caitlin, who will be shaving her head to raise money for the Macmillan Charity. This will take place on the 3rd June in Surrey for this great cause.
Who is Macmillan?
Macmillan is a UK charity that provides services for those living with cancer.
The money raised goes into vital cancer research and services to provide better care for those living with cancer and their families, by offering emotional and physical support.
Macmillan provides help in the form of support lines, information through their specialist nurses, support groups, and telephone support, to name a few. In 2021 they helped 2.4 million people affected by cancer, with 98% of their funding comes from voluntary donations to provide support for those living with cancer and helping them every step of the way.
Brave the Shave is a Macmillan national fundraiser where anyone can sign up to shave their hair off to raise funds for this fantastic charity.

Like many of us, Caitlin knows people who have suffered from cancer and her brave act will support a charity that helps so many affected by cancer.
‘It’s just something I have wanted to do for a long time! I’m just trying to do my part to help so many people who have been affected. I’m really blown away by the support and donations so far and so grateful for it. I know a lot of people who have been affected by cancer and being able to do nothing is never something people want for those they care about.’
