The 25L Low Energy Dehumidifier is different from other compressor dehumidifiers in that it is the first to use DC Invertor technology which makes it a lot, lot more energy efficient than other domestic compressor dehumidifiers.
It also has an upper fan speed twice as fast as most other dehumidifiers and the weird thing about invertor technology is that the fastest you run the dehumidifier the less energy it uses. This means that if you use the 25L Low Energy to dry your washing then this is actually cheaper to run it doing that that it is on low fan speed.
