With the launch of our bespoke wall brackets for the Arete® 10L and 12L models, we’re happy to be able to provide customers with a space-saving solution. This is a first for any Meaco portable compressor dehumidifier, and we’re proud to be able to offer it to our customers.
A wall mounted dehumidifier solves so many problems and makes the dehumidifier and air purifier a lot more versatile. Whether you want to save floor space, move the dehumidifier away from little fingers, or you need to raise the dehumidifier to make continuous drainage easier, then the MeacoDry Arete® wall-mounting bracket could be the best solution.
Why do I need a wall mounted dehumidifier?
Over the process of designing and building the Arete, the team took into consideration the input of over 2000 customers. One of the recurring suggestions made was the request to be able to wall mount a dehumidifier, something not available on the domestic market.
Taking the feedback on board we did two things. Firstly we designed Arete so that it can be pushed right up against the wall: that way it already takes up less floor space and is a more practical solution. Secondly, now that we had a dehumidifier that could be pushed up against the wall, we got a team of engineers to look at the best and safest solution to wall mount the dehumidifier.
The brief required that the mounting of the dehumidifier be:
- Safe to install and safe to use
- Easy to fix
- Allows airflow to be optimised around the machine
- Easy access to the Arete filter and the controls
- Prevent vibration from the compressor from passing through the wall
- Enable wall mounting without changing the standard dehumidifier
The solution looks simple but has actually been finely crafted and tooled to provide a solution to all of the above points and will reassure the user that it will last for decades to come.

For the smaller 10 and 12L dehumidifiers you can also choose from either a charcoal filter (for the removal of smells and VOCs) or a H13 HEPA filter( better for physical particles like dust, pollen, pet dander and viruses) to turn your dehumidifier into a combined dehumidifier and air purifier or a stand alone air purifier for the summer months.
The larger 20 and 25L Arete One dehumidifiers also have the choice of either a charcoal or HEPA filter and an automatic pump to drain the tank when you are unable to, perfect for remote applications.
