Meaco Customer Service

How good is our Meaco customer service?  Well it is something that we work very hard at because we are acutely aware of how the quality of the customer care experience reflects on the Meaco brand and we are all consumers ourselves in our own individual right and we know how we like to be treated when things go wrong for us. Having been a reseller of other people’s dehumidifiers in years gone by I know what worked for me in terms of customer service and what drived me round the bend!  We therefore insist that all of our UK resellers let us look after customer service issues and that all complaints are forwarded to us.  So the office becomes a hub for all faults, issues and complaints.  We therefore know straight away if a trend becomes apparent whether it be with a particular part or with an element of our service.

The staff we have here are very good at looking after their customers and they try very, very hard to look after each and every customer to the same standard.  Some things move out of our control, mainly the collection and delivery service that is run by our courier.  But as soon as we hear that a collection or delivery is not being handled to a customer’s satisfaction then we are straight onto the courier even though sorting the couriers out when something goes wrong is the most time consuming, frustrating part of the job (drivers make some very strange decisions sometimes!).

It is very heartening when customers take the time to write to the staff after the service has been completed to thank them for their service.  No-one likes to have a faulty product, consumers feel let down and sometimes angry, so it is always nice when we hear from customers and they take the time to thank us for putting things straight. after the outstanding customer support I have received from you and your company ‘Meaco’ , you have forced me to send this email to thank you and Meaco for restoring my faith in companies that still know how to treat their customer with respect. You can be proud that your delivery and collection methods where on time and with no complaints. I would, and have in the past, all ways recommended your de-humidifiers after research suggests that they are up the top of performance and reliability. Thanks for making the whole experience a comfortable one.

I have questions about repair of a couple of other Meaco DD8L de-humidifiers, but I will email you about these separately.

Please tell your engineer he’s a very nice man! Can I also say that yourself and Meaco as a whole have been excellent and without any doubt, I would highly recommend anyone who’s looking to purchase a dehumidifier (or another item you produce) to use a Meaco product, because the service and quality is superb!

many thanks.   its a pleasure to deal with you, i just wish other companies had the same customer focus as yourself,   I currently have 2 meaco machines, after using other makes for the last 28 years, and meaco are far supperior to any of them, and good back up too is a bonus.   I recommend them to everyone now, and know at least 2 people have been happy since they purchased them

I called earlier today regarding a problem I was having with a Meaco junior dehumidifier. I felt a bit sheepish when Chris advised me that the issue I was experiencing is specifically referred to in the back of the user manual.. But he took the time to explain how I fix it nevertheless. I’m very happy with the support I received. It was excellent.

Just a note to say thank you for the excellent service/repair of my dehumidifier.  The unit was collected and returned, at my convenience by Interlink.  It’s back and working away nicely. Prompt and efficient service all round.

That’s Ok,   Delivery was very early 9,50am fortunately just caught the delivery driver on my return to the delivery address as he was about to drive off!!   Many thanks for all you`ve done, the new unit is much better – the impeller does not wobble at all!!!   I shall certainly recommend Meaco in the future as I have dealings with boat yards and with boat owners etc. I used to recommend The `Ela` unit but now it’s going to be the DD8LJ or DD8L units.

Thank you for arranging replacement of my faulty dehumidifier. Interlink delivered the replacement unit, and picked up the faulty unit, a short while ago. I have unboxed the replacement unit, and all looks well physically.  I will now leave it to stand for a minimum of 1 hour (as per instructions) before I power it up. Thank you again for your excellent customer service provided, as provided to me.
