We are very proud to announce that our latest generation of dehumidifiers has received another Quiet Mark award. Quiet Mark is the international approval award programme associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation. The idea is to encourage companies worldwide to prioritise noise reduction within the design of everyday machines and appliances, and find solutions to noise problems, particularly for customers to use in their homes.
This Certification follows a Which? Best Buy for the MeacoDry Arete® One 12L as well as Red Dot Design Award and other Best Buy awards for others in the Arete® range.
So, let’s have a look at the 12L unit in detail! It’s much quieter than the average dehumidifier of this size and power, at just 35dB. Even on the highest fan speed, the Arete® One 12L is just 38 dB, that’s equivalent to the quiet murmur in a library. The 12L is able to extract up to 12.18 litres per day, so it’s a compact and quiet device, which doesn’t compromise on performance.
On top of being one of the quietest dehumidifiers available, the Arete range comes with a whole host of useful features as well. We’ve added a medical-grade HEPA filter for better air purification, the water tank has lips on both sides so it’s always easy to empty the tank*, it comes with a special adaptor in the lid so you can attach your garden hose to drain away the water.
