A R290 refrigerant means it extracts more water from the air for less money. Easy to use and set up it has a variable humidistat that allows you to put in whatever target humidity you want between 30 and 80%rh in 5%rh steps, and you have the flexibility to leave the machine running continuously for maximum drying. The control panel comes with a sleep mode that turns off any bleeps and maintains a low fan speed to minimise the noise level. It is also one of our quietest dehumidifiers at 44dB.
Ideal for drying mountains of wet washing indoors during winter
Its energy saving features include a one touch Laundry mode which will run the dehumidifier at full speed for 6 hours before switching off. Positioning the dehumidifier close to washing on a rack, the dry air from the dehumidifier blows over the clothes and speeds up the drying process. More energy efficient than a tumble dryer, the MeacoDry ABC 20L is perfect for meeting the clothes drying needs of a typical family.
Its large 4.8 litre tank requires less frequent emptying, and there is an option to fit a hose to allow the water to drain away continuously so you never have to empty the tank at all. What is the difference between the Arete and ABC range as I see the Arete range seams to be out of stock in most sites.
