Winter is well and truly here so the latest review of the MeacoHeat Motion Eye 1.8kW (no longer available) by Trusted Reviews is very timely. Finding an economical and efficient way to heat a space, that may only be used infrequently is important, especially post-Christmas when people are counting the pennies.
Introducing the MeacoHeat
At Meaco we have come up with a solution with our range of MeacoHeat heaters and Trusted Reviews were keen to test the MeacoHeat Motion Eye 1.8kW to see how it would perform, having been impressed with other Meaco products in the past.
“One of the smallest heaters you are likely to see”, Trusted Reviews gave it a big thumbs up. They liked its advanced features, which include a timer and motion detection.
PTC technology for fast heat
Trusted reviews detailed how the PTC technology in the MeacoHeat enables it to start-up quickly, “so that there’s little lag between turning on and feeling the heat”. On heater performance “it does a decent job, and there’s a fan-only mode”. Trusted Reviews also liked its safety features including a tip-over switch and overheat protection, and low noise levels.
No more heaters left on in empty rooms
With its motion detection feature it is a “good occasional heater”, adding heat to a space only when it is needed, so perfect for “student rooms, boats, caravans or smallish rooms in the home”.
They were impressed that it is about “the size of a loaf of bread”, yet “it’s light and feels rugged”, making it a decent option for small rooms.

For larger spaces, the MeacoHeat Motion Eye 2.0kW is the more powerful, larger option, which is available in black, white or red versions.

I was desperate to purchase the Meaco Arete 12l for my small cottage, after reading specifications and reviews across many brands products I knew Meaco was the right brand for me. Have to say it was hard to get hold of, tried many options on line but one day QVC had it on 3 easy pay. I bought it immediately, and I’ve never been happier or healthier, I pulled my damp wet wardrobes out treated the mold popped them back plugged my little arete in and what a difference, the air is cleaner there’s NO damp in my bedroom my clothes no longer wet and musty but I even better the hepa filter removes dust and dog dander as my dog sleeps on the bed and I no longer cough all night, okay you Jay say take the dog off the bed but we are dog lovers and Sonny the Weimaraner loves sharing our super king size bed lol so now it’s a lot less stuffy and you can’t see particles in the air anymore, it effectively takes the humidity down purifies the air and we think its amazing so glad I bought this fabulous device made by Meaco
I bought the Meacofan 1056 last year and it is the best we have ever owned; really quiet and really cooling.
I gave it to my daughter to keep her cool in her loft flat in the city. It’s the only thing keeping her going!
I immediately bought another for our home; it’s wonderful.
