Hacks for your MeacoFan

The British heatwave is set to continue for two more weeks, with England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland already experiencing highs of 30-degree heat for the first time since 2013, according to the BBC.

We know it’s hard to stay cool in this heat, especially at night when it can be a burden to fall to sleep and enjoy a comfortable night’s rest without tossing and turning and sweating.

By investing less than a hundred pounds on a MeacoFan you can enjoy the lovely weather feeling cool and very well rested!

The MeacoFan is a lovely piece of kit, but don’t take our word for it, even the Independent think so!

We ensure that our fans are designed to be functional, but also stylish and in keeping with the home setting with every aspect such as the look, feel, touch and multi-uses of a fan taken care of.

Want to make the most out of your MeacoFan? Here’s 10 different ways you can maximise the effects:

  1. Use a fan to cool yourself, obviously!
  2. To cool down a room full of several people at once, use the side to side oscillation, and for the whole room turn on the left and right, up and down oscillation.
  3. Sleep better at night by using the fan just before you drift off to the land of nod by pre-scheduling the fan. This ensures you aren’t too cold at night.
  4. Don’t want a direct breeze while in bed? It’s easy to change the settings to ensure the air bounces of the walls and ceilings instead.
  5. Use the fan to cool you down whilst you cook, no more sweating over a hot stove!
  6. Funky smells? Open a window and point the fan outside to blow the smells out of the room.
  7. Room hot and stuffy? Open two windows opposite each other and use the fan to pull fresh air in though one window and out of the other for a fast solution.
  8. Use the fan whilst watching the TV, as the incredibly low noise level means you don’t have to turn the volume up.
  9. Did you know that having the fan on helps your clothes dry faster? This is due to the air flow across the clothes helps, ensuring they dry naturally too.
  10. Pointing a fan near freshly plastered walls will help them dry out faster.
